What is it?

Frequencies Creative Careers isn’t just a training programme—it’s your gateway into the world of music, media, live events, content creation, and beyond. With hands‑on training, real industry insight, and mentoring from professionals, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to step into your dream creative role. Since 2021, our alumni have entered the creative industries, now working at major festivals (Glastonbury, BBC Introducing, Boardmasters), iconic venues (Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre, Birmingham’s B:Music), and leading event production companies (Ev-entz, SFL) across the UK.

What will I be doing on the programme?

Through a structured introductory programme built around 4 sessions per module (each 2 hours).

You’ll choose one or more of the following creative pathways:

Stage Craft & Technical Production: Gain hands-on experience in stage setup, sound, and lighting. (16th,23rd,30th April, 6th May)

Presenting & Broadcasting: Develop confidence in public speaking, media presentation, and showreel creation. (15th,23rd,29th April, 6th May)

Event Production & Programming: Explore event planning, artist programming, and logistics. (14th, 21st,28th, 6th May)

Social Media & Marketing: Learn digital marketing strategies, content creation, and analytics. (14th, 21st,28th April, 6th May)

This programme is ideal for 18–25‑year‑olds [additionally, 16+ who are able to get parental or guardian consent] who:

  • Would like their first job in the creative industries
  • Have little or no work experience to date in the creative industries
  • Are motivated, curious, and ready to take the first step into the creative industries
  • Want to learn directly from industry experts
